Going to Disneyland Or Disney World With A Baby or Toddler?

If you are Disney bound here are a few tips to help make your vacation a success!

1. Find the Baby Care Center in each park. The Baby Care Centers offer a child friendly place to take a break. With child size table, children's Disney movies and crayons it offers a nice break from the busy park. They also provide a nice cool place for diapers changing and feedings. This is also the pace where you would locate lost children.
In Disneyland and Disney World's Magic Kingdoms the Baby Care Center can be located at the end of Main Street, USA next to First Aid.
2. Take advantage of Rider Swap options. Although traveling with babies/toddlers to Disney is fun, most adults would like to ride some of the bigger rides. With Disney's Rider Swap option one adult can ride the ride while the other stays with the young children. When the first rider is finished with the ride they are able to swap with the second rider. Only requiring one rider to wait through the line cutting wait times in half.
3. Take advantage of  Disney's FASTPASS option. FASTPASSES are offered at the busiest Disney rides and provide you with little or no wait. Printed on the FASTPASS is an hour time frame for you to return and ride the ride. When you return, at the appointed time, you are able to go through the FASTPASS line instead of waiting in the standby line. FASTPASS distribution usually takes place near the exit or entrance of the ride. This adds to the ease of seeing Disney with infants and toddlers.
4. Take a break.  Get to the Disney parks early and return to your hotel for mid-afternoon naps, then return to the Disney parks for the evening entertainment, including fireworks. . Everyone including baby will have and a rest and will be ready to see the night time park entertainment. This also give you some time to relax at your resort pool. If you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel check for Extra Magic Hours to the park.
5. Be a smart packer. Food at the Disney Resorts an be expensive. To save money, pack quick snacks that your baby/toddler likes to eat. This saves money and time. Be sure to pack extra diapers, wipes (Destination Babies can provide these for you) and a change of clothes for your little one, just in case.
6. Take pictures. Traveling to any of the Disney Parks with babies/toddlers can be stressful but looking back on the memories made will make it all worth it! Enjoy!
